I'm Samz, a developer based in Kathmandu, Nepal, and the person who built BetterWayOfSaying. I made it for a completely ordinary reason: I was tired of opening a full chat AI, typing out a prompt, and waiting, every single time I needed to reword one short message or DM. For a two-line reply, that whole ritual felt like too much. I wanted something that skipped all of it - paste a rough sentence, get a cleaner version, copy it, done.
How I actually use it
These days I use it most on LinkedIn. When I have a stack of DMs to get through, I don't carefully craft each reply from scratch. I type the raw, half-formed version of what I want to say, drop it into BetterWayOfSaying, and instantly get a more professional wording that I can copy and paste straight back. It has genuinely saved me time on the messages I used to overthink, and that daily habit is the whole reason the tool exists in the shape it does - fast, no prompts, no accounts, just paste and go.
Why I also write the guides here
The tool handles the quick rewrites, but some phrasing decisions deserve more than a one-line swap - when a short reply reads as cold, when "sorry" sounds weak, when a follow-up feels pushy. Those are the situations I kept running into myself, so I started writing them up. Almost every example in the blog traces back to a real message I had to send, then tested and reworded until it felt right.
