BetterWayOfSaying (also written "Better Way of Saying") is a free online tool that gives you three rephrased versions of whatever you type. It works for DMs, tweets, captions, emails and academic sentences.

It exists because most people know what they want to say but get stuck on how to say it. You reread a message five times, soften it, make it firmer, delete it and start again. With the tool, you type the rough version and pick from three cleaner ones a few seconds later.

How it differs from other paraphrasing tools

Most paraphrasing tools only reword. This one is built around tone: you can switch between Professional, Elegant/Flirty and Casual to get options that fit where the message is going.

How the suggestions are generated

BetterWayOfSaying is an independent site and isn't backed by a company or agency. It started from an everyday annoyance: opening a full chat AI and typing out a prompt every time one short message needed rewording. Pasting a rough line and getting a cleaner one back should take seconds, so the tool was built to do exactly that and nothing else.
